I did this mod to my 06 f150, I bought a button switch at autozone for like 5 bucks. I removed my cigarette lighter since I'm not a smoker and put the switch behind that, I then wired the switch to my ignition therefore making my cigarette lighter a push button to start my truck. I haven't seen this done on the newer f150s so if any1 has figured it out let me know!!!

Sweet thanks for all the info guys!!! I think it would be really nice to just walk towards the car and it unlock for you. Then just get in and push to start. My buddy's Toyota Camry has this feature.

I own a Hyundai Veracruz and an Audi A6 and will soon get an FX4..

Both vehicles I own let me get in and out, lock and unlock, start and turn off the engine without using the key.

When I leave home, my keys stays in my pocket.
It is kind of nice as you don't need to be worried about leaving the keys inside the car or loosing time trying to squeeze the key inside the ignition.
