There is no need to remove the door panels. Just vinyl past the places you want to wrap and there will be a groove where you can cut without scratching the plastic. Then you can tuck the cut line into the groove and out of sight.

I wasn't able to wrap the bottom panels of the rear doors. The vinyl I was using wasn't versatile enough and there is no groove line to cut into if I remember correctly.

That vinyl is all scratched up now, which is ok because its better than scratched up door panels!

Has anyone PTM'd the two vinyl pieces on the inside center of the front bumper where the void is? They move like they can be detched, haven't crawled underneath yet to see how they come off since my paint hasn't arrived yet...i'm planning on doing door handles and fender handles as soon as the paint arrives.
Was just curious if anyone has tried the two fender pieces mentioned above and how difficult they were to get off...not looking to ptm the bumpers at this point.

My question is... has there been a good match for blue flame? I saw an earlier post that identified an oracle code, but havent seen any examples. Also... has anyone wrapped just their grille surround? Id love to PTM the surround and dip the center portion. Thanks for any tips/advice/info!

Great match. I haven't used it on truck yet. Swapped grille for a ptm with 6 bar chrome insert. Got me thinking about keeping the bumpers chrome now.

Rocker Panels

There seems to be a coating of some sort on the very bottom of the rocker panels that gives it some texture. Has anyone else noticed this? It is my final concern before I order some vinyl for my truck.

Yep, pretty much every truck has that stuff.. its like a chip guard coating.. it shouldn't affect your vinyl application

Was planning on buying my vinyl this weekend and email Metro and they are out of the color matching Blue Flame. Also, I can only get a massive amount from them costing me around $308. I only need it for the bumpers and grille surround. Anyone want to split the cost and vinyl? Im dying for the PTM look, but not at that price.

Would this work for changing the color on a camper shell to match my truck? (Flame blue FX4)
