Pro's - Just about everything. Love everything about it, mileage, size, comfort, tech, everything. It's great!

Con - Just one so far. It's the fact that the roof will hold a small ponds worth of water! I have to drive 2+ miles before i can roll the window down and not litterally get a water fall on my arm and down the inside of the door.

This is more than a con, I HATE it. But I'll live with it, because the rest of this ride is just perfect.
Yeah, that roof can hold some serious amounts of water. Luckily, where I park mine the truck is at a three degree angle so the water can't build up.

Or just get going and hit the brakes, or just floor it, then its safer to open window! Lol

Mine are not a whole lot different, although I have a few extras that feed my attention to detail addiction.

Pros:
-Engine is nearly Audi smooth and torque is incredible.
-stereo sounds pretty nice
-Sync is lovely when it works...mine sometimes won't pair up with my iPhone, and even my buddy's HTC droid. To the trolls that feed on an apple failure, this does not apply. However, when I'm driving and get a call and it doesn't go through Bluetooth, it's really annoying that I have to reject it and call them back when I get the Bluetooth back In sorts.
-Tailgate step, couldn't live without it
-Flat floor and massive space in the Crew, makes an excellent change room after work
-Quiet cabin
-For a truck, interior build quality is excellent.
-My mileage sucks. Why is that a pro? Cause it's a truck and I can freely drive how I want to drive.

Cons:
-bed hop/suspension reverb over bumps drives me nuts. My silverado felt more planted in the rear end,
-I don't like the way the doors shut. They don't make it feel quality-like when you shut them.
-Pirelli tires suck in every single fathomable way, Pirelli should stick to Maserati's.
-Sony system likes to bottom out at higher volumes, pretty weak sub. 04-08 audiophile was an excellent stereo. They should graft in the THX system from the Lincolns.
-At least put BFG's on the FX4, it is an offroad version you know.
-Shifter and console feels a little cheap and creaky
-No shift boot on the shifter, so anything you spill tacks up the console shifter track.
-Ecoboost engine sounds not-so-beefy past 3500 Rpm, and any exhaust sounds like a minivan with a rusted set of headers, I don't care what anyone says.

Can someone tell me what the engineers were thinking when they made the skid plate on the FX4 appear to have a removable panel, that has clips that break if you try to remove said panel?

I thought it would pop off, and tried to remove the panel, broke one of the clips, not really a big deal. Can get another clip or drill the existing clips and use sheet metal screws. I'm really curious as to what they were thinking when they made this panel attach to the skid plate in this manner? It looks like it may have been made that way because of the steps involved in manufacturing.

I think it would have been a whole lot better if they had used some sheet metal screws or something.

Anybody have any logic, or opinion on this?

By the way I really like the truck.

I came from a 2500 Dodge Cummins with 200K on it, the truck was falling apart around the motor and drivetrain. Bought a Ford because they didn't take government money, and seemed to have a good product.

Default Jumping in this mess because I am bored!

Pros:
  1. Ford has alot of model choices to fit your Likes or Budget
  2. Huge back seat room; Haul the kids to the ball fields(less miles on the wifes car)
  3. Smooth ride, I like the way it Looks.
  4. My 5.0 gets 0ver 18 mpg around town.( IT'S A TRUCK PEOPLE!)
Cons:
  1. NONE, I knew what I was getting when I bought it. I did my research and made my Choice, to late to bitch now. I would do it again tommorow!

My 1998 F150 bench seat was 1000% times better.
Amen on the seat being uncomfortable. This is the worst seat in any vehicle I have owned.

Please post some pics when you get you custom center console done. I am thinking about doing this also. I don't care for the jump seat either.
