I agree, very tempted to black out the grille, but it being a platinum I have chrome/silver handles, tow hooks and rear tailgate panel. I even got the 2008 HD rims which are polished with black inserts.

Wonder what this grille with a black surround and the mesh in silver would look like

I wanna try a 55w kit in my spyders but I think the tinted lenses are killing me for usable light output.
The retrofit projectors are fitted with clear lenses and will actually outperform your factory MDX by a longshot if you have quality bulbs and ballasts. If you do the labor yourself, you can do the entire projector for 300-400 bucks. I spent around $600 total and retrofitted both heads and fogs.

Personally, I would keep your grill the way it is...because it's more of a gunmetal finish, vice chrome, it's not as bold... if that makes sense!!!

Two thumbs up.

It does and if I ever do paint it I will go the plastidip route so I can peel it off if I don't like it.

So the guy selling the retrofit set on the for sale section, He does that for a living? That explains why he didn't respond to my PM asking for advice! I am getting my mini's tomorrow and will start my retrofit in the next few days.

I will have some headlights for sale if anyone is interested, they are black trimmed.

my dad has them on his mini cooper S. they work real good. but for the money and where im from a LED light bar would work better since I dont do a lot of intown night driving, mostly out in the country.
