projector head lights or hids or both?
Hey im new to the whole forums thing but thought i could get some answers here. I just bought my 2010 f150 and the first thing i wanna do is led rear tail lights but cant decide if i wanna go projectors or hid head lights and alot of the projectors ive looked at say not hid compatible is there a way to do so? Or is it one or the other? If so which do you perfer?

Hi. Welcome to the forum. HID Retrofits are the proper way to do it. HID plug and play systems (HID bulb in the reflector housing) are not the right way to do it, as they obviously blind other drivers. If you search "Retrofit" in this board you will find an abundance of info.
Headlights like spydsr and recon do not design their projector lights for HID's. they are meant for halogens only.

I myself bought the 2013 oem hids & the plug n play wiring harness, this is the easiest way to do it! Cost is around 1075.00 for that option! Or you can retofit the 2013 oems as well by putting in the better projectors and 55w bulbs and ballast, it'll cost you another 750.00 or soo!
retrofitting the stock housings is the cheapest way to go or not depending on options added, some like it, others don't, but when done right, you'll get a great performing hid headlight...
