Product Review: Hellwig Anti-Sway Bars

I only added the rear bar. I'm only at 12,000 mi, but at 9,000 when I installed it, I had already rotated the Pirelli's 3 times.
One reason was that you could feel them starting to cup after only 3,000. Second reason.. once you've lost those tires, they'll never be vibration free again.
Since I put the rear sway bar on, and on the softest setting. I can't feel them cupping at all, at 4,000 now.
Aside from the noticeable improvement in stability, it's possible I may get an extra year on those tires.

Can someone discuss the potential drawbacks of these sway bars? It appears for a pavement queen to be an upgrade, but I do not want to give up a smooth ride or lose winter traction by installing these. Are these legitiment concerns?

I don't believe so, as I had a set on the rear of my old Titan and I didn't notice any ride issues, just a nice firm planting of the rearend, especially when towing. My 14 XLT obviously has a built in sway control, but I am going to install a rear sway bar anyway . It just keeps the rear stable and man can it take the corners without squatting or leaning!

The hardest setting, you might encounter a little harsher ride, but even then..still no major drawback.
You might even favor that setting.

WatchingTime - Would enjoy hearing if anyone has put these Hellwig bars on a 2015, and how your truck is riding when compared to OEM. Thanks.
Also ... There is no OEM rear sway bar.

Seeing as this thread got woken up again, I wanted to give an update.
So having previous experience with the Pirelli's, I've been rotating them on this truck every 3,000 miles. Even with that few miles I could rub my hand along and feel a little bit of cupping beginning to start.
I still rotated them yesterday, but was at almost 4,000 because of this fabulous Boston weather. Anyways with an extra 1,000 on them, they were smooth as all hell. Not a trace of cupping.
I'm gonna say the sway bar had to have helped.
Watching Time..I would say if they make it yet, than it can only help. Especially having 700 lb's less to keep in check.
