Hello, All. I have a couple of questions about buying a new F150 and paying cash.

The truck I must have is detailed below.

Here's my questions,

1) What would you offer for this truck on the lot?

2) What would you offer for this truck to be built, and how long would
delivery take?

3) I've found this truck on the lot without the rear view camera, trailer brake controller and powercode remote start - can these things be added with the same parts the factory would use?

1) Try for $31K, but pay no more then 20% off MSRP

2) See #1, 6-8 weeks

3) The TBC and remote start would be easy to add, the backup camera would be very costly.

You can follow a thread showing the parts and requirements to add factory-like backup camera and decide for yourself if you'll want to do such a thing.

Thanks for the info, guys. I checked out the camera thread - it's looks doable. I think I might go ahead and cut a deal fro something on the lot and add the stuff I want later.

Neither are that bad of deals - people will say that you shouldn't go for anything less than 20% off MSRP but you won't necessarily always be able to get that killer of a deal depending on your market and the dealers accessible to you. I got my FX4 crew for 17% off which I thought was decent - especially because there wasn't another FX4 at that price point for miles and miles...
