I recently relocated to Newfoundland Canada and I had my 2013 5.0 driven from Alberta. Since my truck arrived I noticed there is a whine coming from my front end. I took it to a local mechanic yesterday and he said the A/C Compressor is toast but it should be covered under my powertrain warranty. It has 70,000km so my bumper to bumper has just expired (60k). Just spoke to a local Ford dealer and they said it wouldn't be covered under my powertrain warranty. Can anyone confirm this?

ford dealer is correct. ac compressor is 3/36k miles.

Powertrain is engine, transmission, differentials, transfer case, axles, and driveshafts. That's it. If your mechanic doesn't know that, I'd really recommend finding another one.
