Default Power Window Problem with 2011 F150

Just checking to see if anyone else is having issue with their power windows not working. Yesterday morning my driver side window would not do anything. Called the dealer and set up an appointment for them to look at it. Well I stopped by the gas station on the way to work and when I got back in the truck I tried the window again. It worked this time.

Didn't think much about it and was about to cancel my appointment, but thought I would ask my buddy if he had any issues with his 2011 F150 power windows. He said yes actually he has had his windows not work a few times, but it was mostly the passenger side window. Said that when he turned his off and then started it back up the windows would always work. Sounds just like mine, but a different window.

So, I go into the dealer this morning and already knew what they were going to say. "If we can't replicate the problem then we have no where to start trying to diagnosis the problem." I understand that and will just take it back when it does it the next time and not turn the truck off.

Just trying to see if anyone else has had this happen to them. There has to be something that is not right, or it wouldn't do the same thing in other trucks.

It appears we have the same model. I have had no issues with my power windows including the rear slider.

I have a 2011 and just noticed the other day my drivers side wouldn't go down. it has happened a few times but I don't have to turn the truck off. I just keep pushing it until it works.

Default Me, too

I have this problem intermittently on my driver's side door. I need to get it checked out before the warranty is out.

Being an intermittent problem, I don't want to get into the huge fight at the dealer about them not being able to recreate the problem so I dread going in.

I figured more people were experiencing this. Next time it happens I am just going to drive it over to the dealer and keep it running so they can see what's going on. I will keep you all updated.

The more info we can get together on here about the problem the more info we all willl have to give to the service department.

If you are having intermittent problems grab your phone and video the error. I know it won't help with diagnosis but it will show them the problem exists.

Had the issue one time with my passenger window. My gf went out to the truck, turned the key enough for the radio to come on. I came in and started it, passenger window wouldnt work, but all other windows did. Turned key off and back on, and worked every since
