I can tell you this, I had the 2010 4.6 3v and before the tune I was disappointed in power. After the tune it was a totally different vehicle, I had to take it in for service once so I returned it to stock and it killed me to drive it again like that. Couldn't wait to get the tune back in.

I concur with the above. I don't know HP or torque but it drives way better and more responsive, in the higher RPM's it really takes off!

I just took off my SCT X3 off my 2010 4.6L v3. As I traded it in for 2011 ecoboost. I could sell it if you are interested. $275 + ship (prob $20)

Just a point mine was 275 and the custom tune was like 50. Check mike up at 5 star and see what new costs, that way you have an up to date unit with a custom tune. Comparatively it would be close, but if I was getting something especially a tuner for my truck I'd do new.
