I have them on my 11 Lariat. They are part of the Luxury Package which includes the Home Remote. I believe that the option begins with the Lariat and the higher trim levels (Limited, Platinum, Harley Davidson). I like them alot- it makes it easier in tight areas. I had the towing mirrors on my 08 FX4 and thought that I would miss them but I don't. The added convex mirror on driver's side is a big help. They are also auto-dimming on driver's side which is a nice feature. FX seires may also have them I believe.

My '11 Lariat does NOT have it, so you need to make sure you get the right package or options. I could sure use them too!!! I have a bird that attacks any mirror that's left in the driveway...been doing it for years. so I have to fold mine in every time I park my truck.

The reason I ask is that when I bought my 2010 F-150 back in Dec. of 2009, the F-150 brochure listed PowerFold mirrors as an option on the Lariat, which was the trim level I wanted. I went to several Houston area Ford dealers and made several phone calls to check the F-150 inventory in the surrounding area. My conclusion is that Ford never built a 2010 Lariat with PowerFold mirrors. I know they did in 2009, because my neighbor had one.
The PowerFold mirrors is an important feature to me, so I ended up with the Platinum. In 2010 the only trim levels with PowerFold mirrors were King Ranch and Platinum. I figured it was a marketing strategy to squeeze more money out of my wallet and into the Ford profit margin.
When the 2011 models came out, I heard rumors that PowerFold mirrors were available on Lariats. Go figure!

I have it on my FX4, might be part of the luxury package. Hell I even had it on a 2007 Lincoln Nav....wouldn't see why they won't put it on as a Standard option. Only way to get the truck in the garage is to fold the mirrors plus I park on a side street and don't want my mirror get knocked off.

sorry but the 2009 Lariat did not come with them from the factory, as per Ford's factory order guide. Maybe he added them himself or are you sure he didn't have a King Ranch? or did he have the old 2008 body style, because the Lariat and FX4 Luxury Supercrews did have optional powerfold mirrors back then.
