Default Power fold tow mirror swap for '14 platinum

I just picked up a 2014 platinum with 42k miles. First thing I'm doing is swapping out three Pirelli tires for some more aggressive AT tires.

next I want to do a mirror swap. I currently have power fold/marker standard mirrors and would love power fold/marker tow mirror. Is this a direcct pnp? If I wanted power telescoping as well will I need to rewire tat completely? I'm no electrician or mechanic so I'd be very lost in re-wiring anything.

any help or links would be much appreciated.

It's a direct swap for the options that came on your truck (memory, power, heat, etc) as long as the new mirrors have those functions too. Power scope will need to be wired in. If power scope is not needed check out the 1A auto power folds. About $1300 cheaper than going with the oems.

I'll have to look at those. Power scope isn't "needed" but would be useful. For a non mechanical guy would wiring be difficult for the power scope?

Wiring it wouldn't be hard, but running the wire and making it look neat is always the hardest part. Best advice is take your time and give yourself plenty of extra time to complete it. If you think it will take 1 hour, plan on 3 because running wire on a truck is never quick with all of the weird body contortions you have to do and tight spaces you have to fit your hands.

There's a write up somewhere on here. You'll need the power scope button and need to locate and wire into the harness pins.
