2012 FX4 Max tire size with 20" stock wheels
Sorry guys,
been searching, looking at the tables, calling around, etc...
I have a stock 2012 FX4 with the origional 20" wheels. I need tires and want to fill up the wheel wells a little better. How big can I go before I start to rub? nothing too extreme either, dont want to kill my gas milage. between local shops, tire rack and a few friends (none of which have F150's), I'm lost. Forum search returns 1000's of hits...
Thanks for the help.

I'm in the same boat you are, but from what I found, I think P275/60R20 is about as big as you can go without killing gas mileage and no level. I've heard some guys run 275/6520 with no rubbing issue. I know there are other combo's out there if your not wanting to level, but tire weight and width are the biggest factors in your mpg.
I don't know if the sticky on tire fitment is of any help to you or not.

Thanks guys, think I am going to pull the trigger on a set of 275/6//20's locally; glad to hear they won't rub. ...now to find a good deal.
May as well stick close to stock until I have the money for a lift, wheels and tires.
Appreciate the help.

Afternoon,
I have a 2012 FX4 with stock gun metal wheels. I leveled the truck and put 35" Toyo Open Country AT II's on. No rub. I originally was nervous about it being that it is so close to the control arm..but was reassured after speaking with the Les Schwab associate. I had them put 33's on it and it didn't fill up the wheel well as much as I wanted, thus I went with 35's.
Take a look at my stance and tires on my photos and you'll see!!

Thanks Guys, trucks look great!
Frenzy, thats the look I'm going for, just not in a position where I can level it right now, traving, etc...looks badass though
Paw, the Toyo's look good too, will have to take a look and see if there are deals out there.
