They only seem over priced until you compare the price with the other top of the line A/T's and M/T's. Many of which were mentioned in this thread... Toyo MT's, BFG A/T's + M/T's, Cooper STT's, GoodYear Duratracs, Mickey Thompsons, etc. etc. Most of these tires are priced pretty reasonable in the stock size that came on your truck. When you start going wider and/or taller they get expensive real quick.

I know several people who got 45-50k miles out of Terra Grapplers. Not too bad for an A/T. I sold my 06 F150 long before the Terra Grapplers wore out.

TOYO M/T......33x12.50 on 20x8.5.

They probably aren't the cheapest option, but I have no complaints so far.

I have had the nitto trail grapplers and they terra grapplers, both wore very fast. The more I heard about them especially from some of the 4x4 shops was the same. When I had my 10 lifted at Jville 4x4 Mike said he wouldnt put nitto's on a go cart.

Nitto would not even consider any warranty when the terra grapplers I had wore well beyond what they should have at only 6k miles.

That being said I really like the cooper zeon ltz and LOVE the STT'S I just had on my truck. Also Cooper has a NO hassle tread and defect warranty on their tires. Cant beat that!!

On the fx4 I am getting he has the pro comp at but I will be going to the stt when those are done.

Goodyear Duratracs 295/65/18 have no complaints with these tires.
