jonbar87 do you have the part numbers of everything you used? Did all you need were the gears and install kits? I know I remember reading somewhere that someone had issues with the rear 9.75 bearings not fitting with 4.56s and up.

Here's the kit I got, it did require a few extra parts. See post number 64 (currently the last post) here for more details.

Thanks! I think I'll end up going that route but adding a l/s to the front 8.8

that is the dumbest thing ever. you wont be able to turn properly if its icy or slippery.

you do not want a LS in your front diff on the street. only in the rear.

only thing you should put in the front is a selectable locker on the street or a full/selectable locker on a trail rig.

The dumbest thing ever is your misinformation. A LS in the front wouldnt be terrible. LS dont lock right up like a locker does and they allow for a set amount of rotational difference before they do engage, LIKE the rotational difference when turning. it wont matter in the front untill they start spinning hard.

Noooo I have no clue what Im talking about.. Why dont you look above at my setup, Sir. Its the proper front diff setup for a street rig. Like I said above, trail truck, doesnt matter.

Your front wheels do not provide power in 2wd and are disengaged so its completely useless in 2wd.

Next up is 4x4, guess what your doing with that? Using it in slippery conditions where your front wheels are spinnin thus making turning worse.

Its a bad idea. But by all means go ahead and do whatever you want man!! Its your truck and your cash!!!

Anyway, Back on topic!!!

It would probably be the same concept as the 2012+ raptors. Guess they have tons of issues running l/s diffs too....
