your better off to get a quote from all 3.....

that way you have dealing power with your current dealership.....depanding who give you the better deal that is...
thats what I did I went to 5 dealerships and seen who could give me the best deal......the last dealership we bought 5 vehicles from them, and they lost out as the other dealership was hungeryer for my buisness, and got a smokin deal.......on my 2012......

good luck!

Thanks for all of the advice guys. Capital Ford told me that the dent along with the tiny crack in the windshield (probably a rock from a truck that was in front of me on the highway) weren't big enough to have an impact on my trade in value. I am also taking everything off that I have the stock part to, which includes the air intake, exhaust, tires and wheels, removing leveling kit and rear blocks myself, and obviously the easier stuff like toolbox, bed rails, LED tailgate light bar, offroad light bar, and side steps. But considering the fact that my current truck is pretty low end, I would be happy if they give me what I have left to pay off on it. Friday is when I plan on stopping by Crossroads Ford to have them give me their offer on my trade in and see if they can offer a better deal on a 2012. I have the papers and everything from Capital Ford to take with me and pretty much show them this is what they are offering me, and if they can give me a better offer.

Leave the stuff on their when you go to Cary, they actually gave me more money for my lift, tires, rims, hood, bull bar, custom paint and other accessories. See if it makes a difference.

Alright awesome 24packman I appreciate the advice. I'll look for Dan Smith and mention you and see what he can do for me. I'll be sure to keep you updated on what happens. I'll go in with all of the stuff on my truck in hopes of them giving me a better trade in value.

So I went to Crossroads Ford of Cary today, and this is what happened.

I first asked to speak to Dan Smith, so he came to me and we met and talked for a bit. I mentioned you, 24packman, and he said you were a great guy, and he appreciates you recommending him to a new customer. We then got to business. I told him what I wanted, and he found me a nice fully loaded Blue Flame Metallic FX4, without sunroof and navigation, with an MSRP of $46K. He offered me 19.5K on my trade in, and is taking off $6K as a courtesy discount and an additional $6,250 in rebates. So the total sale price is $34K. After counting taxes and all of that, and the difference of ~$300 or so from the trade in value and what I still owe on it, the total balance is $35,611.15. Now I understand that this is simply an amazing deal for a FX4. If anybody cares to look up the window sticker, the VIN is 1FTFW1EF1CFC87359. It doesn't have running boards on it, which I think I will be fine without anyway, and it doesn't have a spray-in bed liner, maybe I can get that added on for free. What do you guys think about this deal? Should I take it, or bring it to Capital Ford and let them know this is what Crossroads offered me, can you guys do better? I would definitely pay the extra $1K-2K in a heartbeat to jump up from an XLT to a FX4.

regardless of where you buy this FX4 you sound like most of us here. We will never be happy, after 6-7 months you will probably be jaded with the FX4 and want something else.

Oh, definitely not. This one will stay stock, and will be used until it no longer runs.

I told you it would work out, I'd jump on it! But work on them just a but and get that spray in added! Good luck

I'm gonna send it over to my dad and see what he says. Hopefully if all goes well, I will be a proud owner of a brand new 2012 FX4.
