I'm thinking I want to get into a 350. I love this truck but could use something a little bigger at times. Any ideas what my '12 is worth? EB 5k miles, Fx4, leather, nav, max tow, Amp steps, Firestone air bags, 20" wheels (would include BMF's/Toyos for the right price), tinted windows, leveling kit etc. any ideas? It's flawless and better than new.

ask a dealer... or nada? added "stuff" means nothing to a dealer, only private.

You would get the most $ if you return to stock and sell the aftermarket parts on eBay , my guess is 32k for the truck and 1400 for the wheels,

Id be interested in the wheel/tire combo.... LOL.

hard to say. new they are going for around 36ish now if you can find a new 12. So i would say 30k trade in.

But on a super duty, that loaded you would pay 50k plus TTL, you may get 31-32 on trade.

I am thinking of the opposite going from a 350 to a 150 lol! but ya your best bet is to go back to stock or selling it outright as is. and most dealers are doing 6.5k-10k off left over 12' and 5k+ off new 13's so with that happening your truck just took a huge hit in price.

I would try Craigslist. I had a 2010 Silverado Z71 Ext cab with 26000 miles and sold it for $25500. I had 20" Novakanes, Magnaflow exhaust, Alpine 7" DVD headunit, MTX speakers throughout w/10" sub under the back seat, spray in bedliner, etc. I even sold my stock wheels and tires and got another $500. $26000 all in all. Sold it in 6 days to some kid about an hour and a half away. Did an in and out at the dealership where I bought my F150 and they did all the paperwork and handled all the headache. My truck was exceptionally clean though, like yours. Funny thing was the dealership was only offering me like $23000. I sold it, got full retail, and still kept my tax credit by trading the truck in. LOL! Here's my old Silverado. Kinda miss that truck.

I had a Jeep TJ Sport.....dealer was going to give 5000.00 less then what I was asking for, i sold it for my asking...I should have went up another 2 G's but I probally would have ahd to wait to get rid of it.......It was clean detailed, My salesman put it on craiglist for me, and some girl e-mailed same day actually a hr after I got home, next day she drove off with it.......

and yes take teh goodies off if you trade it in as they were not giving my a cent for them, as to why I went private and in my case it worked out well.......

Good Luck!

If it has been a while since you have been in a diesel make sure you study up on high pressure fuel pumps, the effects of crap fuel on them and dpf regeneration with common rail diesel systems and styles.

I'm a diesel nerd and loved all my diesel trucks and even have my wife in a diesel VW but a 350 would be a tough sell to me right now.

Depending on sales tax rate in your area, here it's 9.6%, although the dealer may give you less than book, the taxes saved by trading in makes up for it. I also disagree with taking off the add ons and again depending on the area, they can add value to trade. You truck would last about an hour on a dealer lot. Very nice truck.
