Default Possible iwe problem

I have 2010 f150 4x4, yesterday morning I was going to work and heard this noise, it sounded like between a rush of air and like a card in a bike spoke wheel. I've heard this noise before. It made the noise shortly after I had gotten the truck, took it in a few time to different dealers, and they didn't know. So now about 4 years later it did it yesterday. The truck only has 32,000 miles on. It only does it periodically to. 4 yours ago it would do every couple weeks to a month. Any help would be appreciated.

Does the noise go away when you engage 4x4?

Up front somewhere. Its so hard to explain cause it doesnt do it all the time. The best way i can describe it is, if some one stuck something in a fan blade. It goes away after 15 seconds or so.

So it sounds like something being stuck in the fan and thats not an engine noise?????

You need to read that thread I linked.

ok.

My bad for not asking what engine you have. Take 5 mins and fill out your signature with what truck you have and its motor.

I dont know if the 5.0's suffer from a timing chain issue or not. Assuming that is your motor.

Now, you are making this hard as you keep flip flopping and your details are vague. The more info you give us, the easier it is to diagnose your problem.
