Default a positive mpg thread

Just thought I would post some pics of my recent mpg's. My truck is a 2011 ecoscrew 157" 4x4 with the 3.55ls. Running stock sized 10ply generals. Can't believe the winter vs summer difference. In the winter I usually get about 15.5mpg. Now that it is getting warmer I have been averaging over 20mpg.
The instant mpg pic was including an extra 180 miles or so over the trip meter. The trip meter pic is my latest reading. The lie-o-meter seems to be pretty accurate on my truck. Every once and awhile I check it and seems to always be within a couple tenths in either direction. Couldn't be happier with this.

My 2010 Scab 4x4 with the 4.6 is averaging 17.8 city and 21.5 highway not bad for a little motor in a big truck.

I guess I have a "Who gives a F about mileage, I want hear those turbos sing" foot. But at least I admit it is me and I am not blaming Ford. I couldn't be happier with the power which was the main reason I chose the engine. The good mileage on the few times I do feel like getting it is just a plus. Keep in mind that my 5.4L with 33s was 12 mpg combined on a good tank and was not nearly as powerful. Like I said, at least I admit it is my fault for the crappy(for an Eco) mileage.

My usual combined average per tank +/- .5 mpgs depending on how froggy my right foot was that tank. The bigger tires and level don't help either.

I would consider 16.5 average pretty good with those mods. I'd be happy with that.

Oh I am happy with it. I re-edited the post on what I got before with my 5.4L.

I have noticed the same thing. 2011 eco 3:73, I get around 15 in winter. Now that warm weather is here I am up to 18.5-19. It seems the warmer it is out the better mileage I get.

I've only had my13 since april 20, but I consistantly get 17-18 city 20-21hwy. Lifetime says 18.0. I do mostly city drive. I was only getting 18-19 city and 21-22 hwy in my 08 Santa Fe I traded, so i'm happy.
