Pop n lock question
So wanting to wire it up to the pass side lock. Instructions say gray wire with brown stripe and purple with grey stripe. On the drivers side which it`s now wired and working it`s gray/brown again but with light blue/green stripe.
Problem is I cannot get it to work on the pass side. Anybody done this to a 2014? Is it a different colored wire that the instructions say? |
I'm wondering how you got them into the cab to begin with...is there a grommet I am missing? I looked all over. By the way, when i find out how to do this, mine is a '14, so I will cue you in.

Uh cant say for sure if 14 is the same wiring, but there should be a rubber grommet under the wiring harness in the step area on the passenger side. I stabbed a hole in that and passed the wires through it.

Installed mine a little while ago. I ran it into the driver's side as instructed and works great. Here is the grommet location (Super Crew only). I also routed a 8ga power wire to the front and a trigger wire for LED bed lights at the same time.

No I will be going to to the driver door like the instructions say, I just quickly glanced for any grommet to enter the cab and didn't see any. I will look harder tomorrow. I did locate my wires already in the door sill though.

Scews and Scabs are different, with the Screw the wires can be found in the column between the doors, easy to get to. On a scab I found it much easier to go to the fuse panel on the passenger side behind the kick plate.

Blown F-150, I wish I would have thought about the extra power wire when I did this, that was a good call. |
Couldn't for the life of me find the right wire colors in the door sill on my '13. So, just ran inside the door and spliced in at the lock solenoid.

Does the manual key lock still function with the solenoid attached?
