My wife thought I was mental when I first told her about this mod, but when we were driving home tonight she had to admit how awesome it was, and I had to rub it in that I don't just do any mods. Just the awesome ones.

lol, that's "awesome"! Agreed, besides being cool visually it's very useful at night I have a work vehicle I drive on long trips and find myself missing my illuminated cup holders

This is my work vehicle that I drive on long trips. I live in st.louis. I have had the truck since the beginning of the year I have already driven to philly, Cincinnati, and Tulsa. I'll be driving back to Cincinnati on Sunday. So I want to be comfortable when I ride. Do the seats get more comfortable as the get broke in?

I've got 40k miles on my truck and around the 25k mark I started having serious issues with comfort with my seat...up to that point it was good.

I'm 6ft 6 and 300lbs....and apparently fit just right where the high metal bolsters under the seat cushion started cutting into my legs. Basically the foam Ford uses is weak and gives to easily. I since added some additional foam to flatten out the seat and since doing that, for me the seat is very comfortable.

Seat comfort is subjective because none of us are the same, this helped me...but may not help your issue with comfort. Look at my profile links for a thread on uncomfortable seats, I have picks of what I did to mine.

Sadly, my work vehicle is a 2010 Ford escape...(Insert clown car joke here) lol.

Awesome. This was what I needed. to figure out which wire to splice. Did you also go with the same kit that Maximus used?

That's the trim for the shifter not the cup holder.

Exactly, thats the shifter bezel ...

I'm looking for the Cup holder chrome trim.

I'm reading every where on the web that the whole piece (cup holder & shifter cover) comes as one.

Check on Tasca they usually have a break down of what the parts look like and the part #.
