How did you get that Transformers picture on your touch screen?
Thanks you can burn jpgs to a CD and if you tap on the default ford logo you will get some options to upload and edit the new images.

bringing this one back. has anyone had any problems with their install? i'm thinking of going the pilot LED tube and taping into the shifter/parking lights. do the pilot LED tubes come in smaller diameter?

Was just looking through the threads and saw this one pop back up

I've had zero issues with the pilot flex tube setup I installed over a year ago...I just took a few pics to show how it's holding up. After applying the shrink tubing to the flex tube there are no issue with adhesion. Everything is tight and in place as I first installed it.

The Pilot tubes are all the same size....but...

this store sells different sizes http://www.thefiberopticstore.com/pu.../SGS-Fiber.htm , I've tried the 3 and 2mm. the Pilot is about 2.5mm. the 2mm didn't seem to carry the light as well and the 3 was too fat. The 2mm might be worth a shot if figure out a way to connected the led's differently than I did.

I printed out the picture that Sharper4 references for my notes...it's a black and white copy and I didn't take pics when i wired mine that way. If memory serves, there is a large red and black wire bundled in the shifter wires. Taping into those will get you the 12v/Gnd that will turn on when all the other lights turn on.

I'm using rgb led's for my setup so the blue in my pics/setup is more of a true blue. The controller I'm using offers 20 other color combos.

the dark blue el wire color is almost a perfect match to the factory **** colors.

Such a cool idea. Looks like I know what I am doing this weekend. Thanks to all to have answered questions in detail.

kmaximus, what color EL wire did you go with to match the ford *****? i'm thinking the 1.4mm kit would be perfect for me. I don't want it too bright but subtle for the interior.
