Maybe it's just for me, but it says your video is private.

So a couple questions to confirm...

1) 2.2 is what fits best?
2) What type of inverter do I need to hardwire to the black/blue wires in the console?
3) What type of adhesive works best with ELWire?

Thanks! Enjoyable mod!

Jmbeebe0722, most folks these days are going the led/light tube route but the elwire solution it still a very easy and effective addition, I don't think you will be disapointed either way let me know if you have any further questions to the answers below and please share when you get it installed

1) 2.2 should be a great fit (only major advise is if you haven't worked with El wire, don't make sharp angles when bending the wire..they easily short out)
2) this should do the job for installing to the console wires: http://www.elwirepros.com/micro-12-invert.html
3)standard crazy glue worked great for this application

EWeezY, thanks for uploading the video! Your install looks great.

My recommendations if they are coming off too bright......if you put a shroud over them (kinda like a baseball hat) it will deflect the light more at the floorboard area and make it not seem so bright

Also, not sure which controller you went with, but the one I'm using does offer a 4 step dim feature. Here's the link for quick reference: http://www.superbrightleds.com/morei...ote/1261/2932/

Again, great job on the install!!!

RedandBlack_FX4, you know the drill, post some pics/ video when you get it installed, looking forward to it

Thank you so much!

Where would I go about getting the led/light tube as well? That way I can compare the two.

Cool idea, and the final product looks really good! Nice job.

How did you get that Transformers picture on your touch screen?

Jmbeebe0722, Check out post 45 in this thread, it shows the light tube that you can get at autozone or pepboys for about 20 bucks.

Post 102 has all the gory details for that install plus an online link to where you can get the tubing in bulk, also check out post 119 from dannytexas that used the blue led tube from autozone. The major difference between the led tube install and the El wire install is for the led install you have to carve out a channel in the black cup holder piece for the tube to fit.

If you go the single color route like dannytexas, its an easy wire job after the carving is done. If you go the rgb route there is some fabrication involved as detailed in post 102
