I'll be getting the 100-series bi-directional kit installed on my factory order when it arrives at the dealer, which should be hopefully in a few weeks. I'll let you know how it works when I get it.

It does not adjust the temp inside my truck but I have an XLT. I ahve to set the ***** where I want them, as long as I remember, I am good. Maybe some of the higer end models may work that way?

the manual says that the XLT with manual control is supposed to turn on the heat if its really cold out and the ac if it's really hot or just go by the manual control settings if it's mild - it doesn't really get into an explanation of what the meaning of cold, hot and mild is. Maybe its 0 and 100 F?

The antenna wire plugs into the TPMS module directly below the plug you removed to tap the starter into. You will see it if you look close, it took me a few minutes to find it as well.

Good luck!

Default PLUG AND PLAY ford remote start

I have had the ford 200 series plug and play remote start system installed.I bought it thru the dealership,it costed me $400 installed.I love it,works from a very far distance, they say up to 900 feet.I work for Ford at the truck plant and it starts it from inside the plant and its a long way to the parking lot.The nice thing about it is that the remote fob actually blinks green to let you know that it is running. This system does have a perimeter and shock sensor built into it.It will turn on front and rear defrosters, heat or air cond, heated or cooled seats, all automatic.I would highly recommend this system, best that i have ever had!!!

I ordered mine from Tasco Ford for 240.00 including shipping. I installed myself in 25 minutes(took my time). My dealer activated the fob for free. The range is excellent. Middle of the mall the other day and I said what the hell and tried starting it. Impressed to say the least. Thank you everyone for the excellent information here. Saved me some bucks...
