Angry PLEASE HELP! Very frustrating Electrical Issues!

Hi everyone,

I am having multiple electrical issues and beyond frustrated with my 2011 F150 XLT 5.0 Liter V-8 SuperCrew Cab.

To start there's something bleeding my battery while my truck is turned off, if I leave it for more than 5 to 6 hours. I've had it looked at by 5 or 6 different dealerships and mechanics and NO ONE can figure out the issue. They initially replaced my fuse box under the hood saying that was the cause but it didn't work. Anyone ever had this type of an issue?

Secondly, I'm have a random grinding sound like my parking brake is engaging randomly at high and low speeds out of now where and won't stop until the truck comes to a complete stop?

Third, my steering continues to randomly not work or get a sticky feel while turning left and won't work properly for a few days than go away and come back a week or so later out of the blue?

ANY AND ALL HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED!

Thanks,

Bernie

There are several threads related to the battery drain issues.

Common, known causes of battery drain ...
  • LEAVING THE KEY IN THE IGNITION. *TAKE IT OUT BEFORE LEAVING THE VEHICLE.
  • leaving devices plugged-into the electrial recepticles. *they're ALWAYS hot.
  • faulty ignition switch. *symptom - key is loose.
  • faulty shift lever micro-switch. *does not register as being in P(ark).
  • faulty door -closed- switch.
  • faulty hood -closed- switch.
  • the mirror cover on the passenger visor does not close causing the light to stay on.
    etc., etc., etc..
