Default Platinum Power step has a delay all the sudden?

Just had to have my battery replaced and now my power deployable step on the drivers side has a 15 second delay when it retracts.... Anyone have this happen before?

Might be a setting in the dash, that needs resetting?

Hi GetScrewed,

I recommend setting up an appointment with your dealership. Pass along the mileage; I'll see how I can assist with that delay.

Interested to know what you find out on this. My truck did this shortly after I got it and replaced the battery as well. It's been that way every since, but think I will get it checked out before my warranty expires next April.

Don't have time to get in before my next oil change but have noticed as soon as the truck moves wheather in drive or reverse the step retracts immediately, so I'm not sweating it for the time being.

Mine started doing this about a year ago. I did have the battery replaced at roughly the same time , but not sure if this was a result of it or not. I just assumed it was due to being used a lot more than the passenger side.
