Took our Plat over very rough jeep trails this summer, to try to access some lakes I hadnt been to. Skid plates are definately beat up bad after that trip. 32" Pirelli's are not tall enough to get proper ground clearance. 275/60/20's (33")going on in the next couple weeks. A word of caution though if you take your Plat in rough terrain. Make sure to shut off the power running boards. I lowered mine down on boulders a couple times when getting out of the truck.

Thank you, good point about the running boards. I also ordered the skid plates. Have a good weekend.

You do realize that 33in tires vs stock gives you a big 0.5in extra ground clearance right?

That extra .5" doesnt seem like much of a difference but it seemed to keep the skid plates from dragging near as much on the two track trails I drive when hunting or any other excursion. It did anyway on my 2009. But your right, a 34" or larger would be a better choice.
