That's what has me puzzled....I know it is the default, but it changes back to stock for all modes, even at night, driving down the road with the lights on. Has a mind of its own.

Default the Platinum club

Hmm that's strange pull the positive side of the battery and let it sit for a few then try that. Unless it's the ambient light box

Default new to the club

I have a 2012 4x4 Platinum and I was wondering the biggest tire I could put on stock? looking at keeping the stock wheels and either trail grapplers or terra grappler g2.

This isn't a direct answer, but there's a Tire & Wheel Fitment thread on here that I subscribe to and it's pretty great with tons of examples. I've seen a Platinum or two in there, but can't remember the setups.

Default Leveled and Tires

Got my Rough Country 2.5" Level Kit and Fox rear shocks installed Wednesday. Got my Cooper STT PRO's installed today. I love the look but the tires make it ride like a tank vs the factory Platinum ride. Tires are also a lot noisier than I had expected.

I did a few mods this weekend. I replaced the brake pads with Wagner thermoquiet ceramic pads. They are almost dustless and have way better stopping power. The total cost was $52 from Advance Auto.

I also ordered some Bully stainless clamp on tie downs. They are a very high quality product and I highly recommend them. Here is a pic, they are attached to the side rails and are moveable and go to many different angles.
A spray in bed liner is next.

What size tires? Did you do a lift or leveling kit?
