Purcahsed a new 2014 Platinum 3 weeks ago today, have never owned anything but GMs prior to this. This is a great truck! Lots of great info in this forum.

Here's my 2014 Platinum I bought this Summer. Couldn't decide between the 5.0 and 6.2. Drove them back to back and the price was actually very close…so I bought the 6.2 and love it.

wish i would have gotten the 6.2 that engine just sounds soooooo good but i went for gas mileage and got the ecoboost. i miss the sound

Default Engine options for 2015
Does anyone know if the 6.2 V8 will be an option for the 2015? Or are "we" limited to the V6, V6 Ecoboost, and 5.0V8?

6.2 is gone in any f150 for 15

Thanks for the info. That's too bad. To be honest, I'm not sold on the appearance of the upcoming version. I might look into a 2014 with the 6.2.

you could always get a 5.0 and add the roush supercharger :-)
