Mine are 305/55/20 terra grapplers. They measure approx 33.2" tall. You can go to nitto website and look at the tire specs. It will give you a height based on specified wheel width. Mine are 9" wide wheels and the measured specs on nitto website were on 9.5" wide wheels. The stock wheels are not as wide so if you put these tires on the stock wheels they will actually be slightly taller when mounted because of the narrower wheels.

You can also go to www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp for a tire size calculator and you can put in the OEM size and several alternative sizes and it will compare them and give you the difference in height, width and how much your speedo or odo would be affected.

I know people put these same tires on without a level kit an have no problems but they typically do it on aftermarket wheels and not on the OEM wheels. I am not sure if the OEM wheel have enough backspacing/offset for the 12.5" width so you might have some rubbing unless you use a wheel spacer.

Okay maybe you guys can help me figure this out: I would love my plat to look like this (wanted this color, but I'm plenty happy with the Tux Black!)..I am looking at the Terra Grapplers (I HATE the stock Pirelli Scorpions..went bald at 30,000). I just don't know how you figure out how many inches a tire is..Stock tires are 275/55/20, so how do you figure how many inches that is?

My logic was 275mm = 10.82".....55% of 10.82" = 5.95".....Multiply 5.95" x 2 for the tire height on either side of the wheel = 11.9".....11.9" + 20" wheel = 31.9" total inches.

So does my math sound right? I haven't had the opportunity to measure my tire yet honestly.

Long story short is, I want a bigger tire on my platinum, but I don't have the resources for a leveling kit yet. Ayric, do you have the numbers on the side of your tire? I'd love to know exactly which Terra Grappler tire this is and if I can fit it on my Platinum stock? Appreciate your input!

The nitto website is awesome it gives every tire size they make in both metric and then the standard translation. Great site.

I REALLY appreciate the input, I haven't been able to get a straight answer ALL day haha. I do have OEM wheels, so the 305/55/20 Nitto TG probably are not a safe bet for me. I've been looking at the Terra Grappler 275/60/20...same width as stock, just a slightly taller tire..any bigger than that and the price just seems to skyrocket. I actually found that 1010tires website literally minutes before you posted, it is tremendously helpful. I already spoke with two dealers here in Houston, Mac Haik and Sterling McCall, and one quoted me $150 to reprogram the computer for the new tire, and the other quoted $105...go figure.

I bought my truck at Mac Haik and had them do the wheels, tires, and lift. They supposedly reprogrammed mine but I checked with gps and it was still almost 4 mph off at 70mph. I corrected it myself with superchips Flashpaq.

dubsed (?) on this forum has 305/55/20 Nitto TG on factory platinum wheels and it looks amazing. However, he does have a lift in the front and rear.

Wish I knew more about tuning chips, I worry that using a different tune other than factory will void any warranty I have (60,000 mi. in my case)..what do you know about it?

How do these seats hold up? I have only had mine 3 days and ive already noticed a very slight discoloration from my jeans on the typical spot that takes the wear. Are you guys putting seat covers on or is the wear not all that bad?
