Thanks for the input guys. I think I may try a combo of both suggestions, or may try to just get over it. I'm sure it won't be my last rock chip..... or maybe an excuse to retrofit a 2013 Platinum grille. Anyone done that yet?

Hey All
Place I work in my "day job" Actually makes the rear tailgate applique, they are ABD plastic molded grey and chrome plated in "satin chrome" (chromed with a matte finish) and that is the same process I use for the boost-bars. The upper grille will most defiantly be the same process, in which case it isn't paint at all. My only suddgestion would be to CAREFULLY sand/file/the displaced plating/plastic true to the surrounding area and use a touch up paint to make the dent less noticeable . as fair as colour code or match colour...your guess is as good as mine for best match

Below isn't a bad idea to try either!!
