Hey all, just thought I'd share some work from bilinvic Retrofits
He's completely refurbishing a set of lights that would look really awesome on a black or dark Platinum...

Check 'em out here:

Default Peragon Install

Well I finished my Peragon install yesterday and am quite pleased. The cover shipped on time and was delivered in two boxes (one for the rails, one for the cover panels). A day later I had a voicemail from Peragon making sure the cover had arrived okay, thanking me for my order, and offering any help with installation questions. Peragon's reputation for great customer service was already showing up!

I read through the installation directions carefully and checked out the YouTube videos as well. I took my time following closely to the directions. I'd say install took a total of 3 hours, interrupted by the 90+ degree heat in my shop and chasing my 1 year old around.

After getting close to the end of the installation and performing the checkpoint for the panels running smoothly up the ramp and across the rails, I was a bit concerned with how stiff the cover was and the fact that I could not pull it all the way closed. I gave Peragon a call and the rep assured me I had done all the right things and just needed to spend some time tinkering with the rail alignment which I did. I'm still not sure it is perfect, but going to give it some time to break in.

One thing I believe should be added to the manual is a note on our plastic bed rail covers. I wasn't sure if i was supposed to remove the covers before drilling the holes and installing the brackets or just drill right through them. I ended up drilling through the plastic cover and the rail, then sliding the bracket in between the two so the upper portion of the bracket was hidden behind the cover.

I am very impressed with the craftsmanship and fit and finish of the product. It's very easy to tell it was made in the USA!

I've never seen that cover before and just saw a video on how it folds up and that's pretty cool. Although it just seems like one could jump on it and break it causing it to fold and get into your bed pretty easily. I'm sure that's not true but that's just the first thing that came to my mind when seeing how it functions.
