Lol!! It's gonna be more of just an expirement. I don't intend to leave it on. Just wanna see how it works. I'll be replacing my mirrors with tow mirrors soon, so the chrome cap there will be gone. Only chrome left after that will be door handles, emblems, and trim. I'll prob leave all that as I don't like the completely "blacked out" look.

Got it. Good luck with it. Hopefully you'll be more pleased than I was. On my last truck I ended up removing the PD and using Duplicolor's Black Chrome spray. It's a two part tinted spray and clear. I was very happy with it's results as you can make it as light or as dark as you want by continue to lay coats on. Then hit it with some clear and polish to a nice glossy finish.

I haven't heard of that. If I like the look of the blacked out emblems, I may try the stuff you are talking about. Thanks for the tip!

Made an error though. Duplicolor "Shadow" not black chrome. Although that's in effect what it does.

My Platinum will be receiving the F150Lifts.com Ultimate Lift Kit soon. Can't wait to see how it looks and performs....and of course, photos will follow. I anticipate later next week by the time I get Ford to bolt it all up.
