Been working quite a bit on my build the last month or so. About to be complete and thought I'd show a little preview before I break out the SLR Camera for some real photos...

Finished my front emblem lastnight to go with the theme of it all. Not platidip! Used a vinyl wrap and cut out the inner chrome lettering.

Tackled the Headlight inner black bezel too,
What a PAIN.. they are still drying in the kitchen

Anyway stay tuned...
Lemme know what u guys think on the emblem

Love the stance of your platinum!!! Did you use the rear street performance shocks too?

Just finished my headlight do it yourself black mod this weekend, blacked out my emblems in vinyl wrap and cut out the inner chrome lettering.

I like how it turned out... Next is a RollX cover, keyless tailgate mod and a tailgate assist.... Maybe some long tube headers and a SCT tune

So far here's what I've done;

3" Magnaflow header back
Hypertech Tune
Weathertech flaps and vents
Blacked out tails and 3rd brake
Pro Comp 2" level
35" Micky Thompson ATZs
Custom lower grill to match the Platinum
Turn signal mod
Black Emblems
Harley/FX4 do it yourself oven baked headlights with LED upgraded ambers

I use to think these iPhones took good photos.... But ya not so much anymore! Anyway..

Thanks!

I was on eBay each time I was cooking them, and trying to dig out the glue crap. If I had to do it again... I wouldn't! Lol.

I haven't upgraded the shocks yet. I'm think about going air ride in the back. Still kind of trying to figure that out still. I'll at least do helper bags in the rear for extra towing. Capacity.

So I'm driving home from work today and some jackwad decides to pass on the shoulder kicking up rocks and nearly causing a four car pile up. The result is a decent sized chip in my Platinum grille, front and center. Doesn't come across that bad in the photo, but looks crappy in person on my otherwise pristine grille.

Any suggestions how to make this look less obvious?

Bastard! That actually grinds my gears and it's not even my truck! I wouldn't have a clue how to hide that. Someone in auto collision needs to chime in. My 10 Plat had a boat load of chips.

You could try to put a tiny bit of heat to it... Heat gun, blow dryer or if your so inclined a gentle touch with a lighter. Then push on it with the rubber end of a screw driver or even your finger to try and push the edges down. Should make it a little less noticeable

This scares me.

There has to be a paint code for the platinum grill or a similar color.

Think of the guy who is building the boost bars and matching the color. He must have found a solution.

I would respray it if it bugs you that much. I havent seen a paint for it but there must be something.
