Yeah I kind of wondered how someone doesn't use automatic boards, can they be turned off?

That's cool they can be turned off and on but I think I'll stick to old fashioned boards, I like the way they look on my KR

The AMP parts won't work on the factory boards, you will need the body harness and the 1 module on the back wall for certain to make those work.

For the amount of money and MacGyvering involved, do yourself a favor and just buy a set of AMP boards, you can have them running in an afternoon....

Yes they will. That's how I got mine to work.

Gotcha, please post up the parts needed and maybe some steps involved. Maybe a link to a thread if you started one. Would love to know all the details.

Me too as I've never heard of it done,

From what I understand is that you used a harness and brain from Amp and spliced in stock connectors so the harness would mate up yo stock motors?

What about the Led lighting?

Here is the thread I had started. I originally was trying to go the OEM route but I could not get it to work.

So when you get the amp wiring harness you are going to clip off the connectors. You will be left with a red and black lead. The OEM connectors will have I believe 5 wires, 3 small gauge and 2 bigger gauge wires. The bigger gauge wires are the ones you will be working with.

Driver side

Blue/Wht - positive
Wht - negative

Passenger side

Brwn/Wht - positive
Violet/Gray - negative

I have not attempted to install the leds yet but I'm sure it's pretty straight forward.
