Default Platidipped platinum

I've got a 2011 ingot silver platinum. I added the carriage works bumper grille in gloss black to the ecoboost hole in the bumper and was amazed at how much more finished and just plain attractive it made the whole truck. Since then just to do something different I thought about getting the gloss black billet grille inserts for the upper grille so it would match but to my knowledge you have to cut out the egg crate part to put them in there and I'm not too keen on cutting up my platinum grille so since a lot of people have talked about how easy it is to remove plastidip if you don't like it (it supposedly just peels off?) I've had the fleeting thought of plastidipping my egg crate on the grille... Two things, on all the little squares of the egg crate do you think it would still come off very easily just in case I didn't like it and also can you put a gloss over plastidip and it look ok? what do you guys think about the idea?
I love the platinum but it's a 4x4 so I think it would be cool to add a little bad assness too

The easiest way would be to pull off the polished trim, revealing the black egg crate underneath...

Nice job on the photoshop, I think the black inserts really work well with the lights on his truck.
