Got rid of that awful amber side marker color and vht shaded them black. Came out awesome and i took off the ecoboost side emblems on each side to have a cleaner look. Tailgate didnt have the ecoboost emblem. Thinking about plastidipping one of the ecoboost emblems black and peeling just the ecoboost letters out with the rest of it black and putting on the tailgate corner. What yall think of that. Or maybe just leaving it off completely Not showing what motor is in this thing LOL!! Yall let me k Vht shaded the third brake light!! Came out pretty good also!!

Be sure to check your 3rd brake light for water intrusion. Pinewood will replace under warranty. After I read the forum on leaking third Brake lights I was hand washing my roof and checked and I had a pool of water trapped, bugs, leafs, dirt etc. But this summer I will be nite shading mine providing IT doesn't leak again!!

I plan on doing mine this summer to. I did them on my last truck and they didn't hold up where I was always stepping, I did about 5 coats too. I had to touch up the drivers side in the same spot every few weeks. This time I will try 8-10 coats & see if it makes a difference. If I have to touch it up every few weeks like my last truck, so be it. It's worth it, they look better black than grey.
