I would have thought that too but not mine.

It's def 1pc on the rear. I actually broke the first one I had and the one I bought was the same. There are no creases around the letters or ovals. It's just one solid face as if it's laminated. The back indicates its 1pc too

Well **** is it hard to take off the rear emblem and surround?

Once the emblem is off, the bezel for the camera is a piece of cake

With mine, there are 2 tabs that hold it one. Use a thin tool like a butter knife to push up on the tabs (inside the emblem/bezel) from the bottom side of the emblem. The tabs are VERY weak and easy to break.

Do not pry or the tabs will break.

How would it hold up to a Canadian winter on rims? Salt and snow build up.
