It's all good, best thing is you can peel it off.

You have a unique and low build truck, don't make it look like every FX out there, mine included.

Ordered 8 cans online and have been Plasti Dippin' everything I can - so far I've done rear bumper, F150 badges, Chrome rings on vents, mirror reflectors, rear handle, side steps, rear ford logo, chrome tail pipe. Going to do RIMs, front grill and bumper this weekend. Will post pics. Here is my rear logo - love it! You like?

That emblem looks so cool like that that I would never want it to come off so I would have to clear it with matte clear.

How'd you do the rear emblem? I guess your emblem comes apart?

I don't know why some trucks have single piece emblems and some have multi piece emblems but I was not blessed with a multi piece.

No - I didn't take it apart. Didn't even take it off the truck. I PD'd the entire thing then used a toothpick to work and edge of the lettering off. Once I got an edge up big enough to grab I peeled the rest off. Came off the lettering very easy. I recommend taking a blade and running it through the groove of the outer ring before peeling.

Unfortunately this can't be done with the emblems that don't have the groove around the lettering....at least not as easily.
