I don't know. I've done mine both ways. I found it quicker to do it on the truck however you must back or pull forward one half tire rotation to make sure you get all the wheel covered. Id use a bucket to sit on while doing each. Taking each wheel off took a lot more time but was easier while spraying. Both ways have their faults.

Just got my Plasti dip order and I'm in the middle of trying it out right now. I been through just about all 257 pages of this post and have seen a lot of questions on what to do with the bumper sensors. Sooo easy to take off.
On the back of the bumper there are 2 tabs you simply bend back to take the actual sensor out. To remove the plastic housing, there are 4 tabs (2 on each side) press the 2 on one side in and push that half through the bumper then repeat with the other 2

One of the guys I work with had the idea of PD his roof on his dodge. His reasoning was that since nobody see's it and the roof rarely gets any sort of wax treatment and what not, he figured give it a good cleaning and wax then dip it to protect the paint. What do you guys think of that idea? I haven't really looked to much into the PD but being on the roof would it hold up to the sun exposure and all the types of weather?

They use PD to dip entire vehicles so there wouldn't be any problem with it on the roof. Sounds like a good idea, and if he doesn't like it just peel it off.

I think simply PD'ing the badges and leaving them like that looks like total garbage.

Such a nice truck, probably one of the few that actually should have chrome on it and now it looks like someone vandalized it.

I think the stock badging looks great on those. If you wanted to de-chrome it go with an orange/black theme or black/silver. Just spraying PD looks cheap.

I agree it looks cheap with the badges and the truck kinda lost its mojo lol just experimenting with PD
