Overall i'm pretty happy with it. Its deff not a similar color to the blue flame, but depending on the underlying surface color, it can/may turn out different.
Hey what radio you have in there? I was thinking of replacing my stocker with a double din touch screen pioneer. Just want to make sure I can get the right trim panel or just cut my own hole in a spare one I can try finding. How was your install?

I decided to mask the rubber steps to prevent rub off from stepping on them. Masking and painting took about an hour. This stuff is incredibly easy to apply. It's very forgiving about over application and doesn't run easily. If you we're afraid to try this, don't be. This is about the most fool proof and cheapncosmetic mod you can do. I really like the way they turned out. Just gotta clean my step pads to get the wax off from cleaning the chrome previously. I love that I don't have to do that anymore

Looks great! Going to do mine this weekend. Did you remove the nerf bars or just leave them on? How many coats as well?

Its a tablet mounted in-dash. The stock radio is behind it.

On the vent rings I did some uniform light coats over the 'chrome' so i got a different result compared to the mats in the cubbys under the center vents. the trays, which are full coats, are a lill bit darker than the blue dixie beer pong cups. it may be possible to match with a light base coat and some metalizer, but sprayin directly its noticeably different.

Off subject, but I'd like to know if you're able to snap the 12V cover shut with that USB adapter still in the socket and the cable unplugged? That's a nice setup

I did this about a year ago and it has held up. The only thing I did differently was I went over the plastidip coating with the rustoleum bed liner spray coating. Reason being is I wanted more of a 'grip' on the bars if possible.
