Default Plasti Dip vs Oxford White

I would like to paint some of the chrome on my grill (hate chrome) and I'm not sure if I want it to be permanent so Plasti Dip is good for the experiment. How close it their standard white to Ford's Oxford White? Thanks in advance.

plastic dip are more matte finished, if you want the shiny finish, get their glossy paint too.

the plastidip is a bit brighter of a white, but it works.

If you use it on something that doesn't touch the other portions of the white (like mirror caps) it is very hard to see the difference.

I used the white plasti-dip and glossifier when I did my emblems. They turned out ok but its not going to be a complete match. However give it a shot and see what you think, if you decide against it, you're only out $20 and some time for painting and peeling.

I've not had good luck with getting paint to stick to plastic chrome. Plastidip would be the way to go IMO

Thank you everyone for your responses and azmidget91 for the pic - exactly the kind of info I was looking for. I am ok w/ matte finish so I think I will start with that and see. And as aleck07 says if I don't like it then it's only the cost of the paint.
