Nothing special, just a good cleaning. Good luck, you will really like it, and, if not, easy to remove.

Yeah I was considering doing it to my Rubicon wheels. To see how the black looks on it. If I don't like it I can just peel it off, or if I do I can still peel it off and get them powder coated. Would suck to get them powder coated and not like the look.

Thanks for the info.

Does it mess up paint on a car or leave scratches? And have you seen any discoloration on your chrome?

No. I actually taped off an area around the emblems leaving about a 2" space around it. When I was finished spraying my coats, I peeled it right off the paint and it didn't affect the paint what so ever.

Just be careful taking the tape off because it can pull the plastidip up and then it will peel easily

plasti dip was a craze on the dodge forums about 2 years ago. People were plasti-dipping everything, a guy even did his whole truck

just a little tip, when you tape something off to plastidip it, run a razor blade around the edge before peeling the tape. the stuff peels easy

How does the matte of the Plastidip look compared to the glossy paint?
