My Dealer was awsome, he emailed me a copy of the actual order with the vin number after 2 weeks! From there I looked up the window sticker & got a build date. Good luck, you'll love it!

I ordered mine 4/22 and called today to see if the dealer had a vin for me, got a vin and they said truck was built on tuesday and was currently showing "released" on their system, she wasn't exactly sure but thought that may indicate that it is on a truck, Dearborn is only an hour or two from me so it should get here pretty soon.

Got a call from the Sales man this afternoon. He said that the order was being previewed by Ford today, which checks the system to make sure they have all the parts. If everything checks out, should have a VIN# tomorrow!

They schedule orders and assign build dates and VINs on Thursdays I think, so VINs become available on Fridays. That's what I had read and it was true for mine too.

I got mine within 2 weeks. Platinum as well.

Week and a half to two weeks if I remember correctly.

Mine was delivered to the dealer in about 5 weeks after placing the order.

If I got mine in 5 weeks, I would be ecstatic. But living on the west coast the best I think I can hope for is 6 weeks.

Sounds like my dealer is on it, and keeping up with it.
