Im bout to head to the beach for a couple of days, but I wanted to do some mods to my 2010 F150 Lariat before I left. Ive got 3 mods I want to do, but I need help with them. I want to be able to cruise the BLVD without my driving lights on, all I want on is my Fog Lights and Parking Lights. When I put mine in the parking light position on my light dial, the headlights turn off... but as soon as I put the truck into gear, they come back on, but not as bright. Now for the next mod. Has anyone put a taillight bar on a 2010 F150??? I have one, but there is a durn little rod connected to the bottom of the tailgate on the right side. I have no eartly Idea what it does other than get in the way. My local ford dealer told me to just saw it off, butt I dont know if I want to do that, any help??? Now for my last mod, has anyone illuminated the Ford emblems on the front or back of the new f150's. I think it would look wicked, but have no idea of how to do it. Well, thanks for the help!!!

Well as far as the lights go you can pop the light sensor that sits on the center of your dash out and eaither put some electric tape over the sensor os paint it black tricking it to think its dark and that will allow you to just run fog/marker lights . As far as the light bar install not to sure about the thing that is in the way that your talking about(pictures would be good). Last the ford logo front and rear as cool as it would be there is no way to do it with the 2009-2011 ford logo they are a stamped thin pieaces of aluminum and there is no way to light them up from behind. You might find some later year ford emblems that an aftermarket company has already done that to but they most likley will be to small being that the 2009-2011 are the bigest logos Ive seen on a ford..
