Default Found the code for keyless entry pad....

Posted this over on the f150ecoboost website and I thought it might help some of you out:

Bought my '12 EB Screw used a month ago and they did not have the code for the keyless entry pad. I went to a Ford dealer and they wanted 60.00 to " hook up a diagnostic computer" to find the code which could take "up to an hour". Did some poking around the intertubes and many folks wth older models had the code either behind the rear seat which had to be dismantled, or on the cpu/fuse block behind the passenger footwell, which was kind of tricky to see without removing another panel. Well, I removed my footwell panel and lo and behold there is a sticker staring me in the face with a 5 digit code and the letter L after it. It was the code, unbelievably, and it worked! I was able to change it to my own code, in a minute.

I'm curious to know if anyone else with a '12 or '13 is able to do the same or has the sticker there also.

Most dealers will do that for Free! If not just go to another one! Or as you did look on the bcm module!

Tip on that tricky label. Take a smartphone, stick it in there, and take a picture.

I couldn't get my big head in there, but the phone could see it just fine.

On my truck all I have to do is put one key in and turn to run for a couple secs, then put the other key in and turn to run and the key pad code pops up on the screen between the speedo and tach.

My label was on the outside of the module, facing me, not sideways like Ive seen in some older pics. I was laughing at your big head comment, too funny.

Where's this sticker at? The card I got from the dealer with the code on it was wrong and I pulled off the panel in my passenger floor board and couldn't see anything for the life of me?

You take one of your keys and turn to run, wait till the screen goes from the video to the normal gauge screen, then take a second key and do the same thing.
