I agree with a previous poster. If you can stomach the price on the amp research power steps they are sweet. You have to look closely to see them. Love them so far.......

I think our trucks look a lot better without the factory chrome step bars. They make the truck look a lot lower to the ground than they actually are. I don't actually use mine, they just get in the way for me, but I have shorter people riding in my truck all the time and they all thank me for the step bars. I think I may swap them out for a set of these N-Fab step bars instead. That way they are a lot more subtle and more functional.

I got mine without, because the truck is much cleaner looking. Ended up getting a set though- kids and wife can't get in otherwise. Would have a set of AMP, except for the fact they are a thousand bucks
