Yep it was a quite pop and I snapped the front shaft 3pm this afternoon. With no 4x4 it took 3.5hrs to get unstuck.

Man that sucks. That shaft should hold up better than that unless it was dented.

I know. I would have hoped so too but after looking at it it's a chincy piece of ****. The wall is paper thin

I've had custom one's made for me in the past that were built better and not much different in price from oem.

I know I wasn't "beating" on it when it broke. So it didn't flail around. I heard it clunking on the shift plate.

I'm looking at fixing it myself and Bryan proofing it. I have access to a machine shop, welding shop and all the steel I'll ever need. It's good to know people.

How much? I've looked and they vary 300-700
