gotta love some duratracs and v8 power. after some high reving and rocking it pulled itself out.

would have left the truck there until spring if i had stock tires
Haha, I did that in 2' of snow, except I *do* have the stock GY Wrangler Adventure tires on my truck.

Had it in 4A, went down a 1/4-mile stretch of unplowed road, got stuck. Put it in 4H, no dice. Put it in 4L, rocked, and then rocketed all the way back up the hill I had driven down

My rear diff left an 8" divot in the snow, and my front air dam scraped the whole way, haha.

These trucks rock!

If I hadn't had gone in a few times and made a few firm areas that softened up I wouldnt have had issues.

Real test is coming up since its big lake ice fishing season.

I'm stealing that idea How do you have them set to turn on? switch or door open?

EDIT: stalked your build thread "Rock lights are connected to a switch on the dash for offroad driving purposes, as well as to the dome lamp to act as puddle lights." Good choice!

I dealt with snow almost that high when we got our blizzard... I figure if you approach it slowly you are fine. Didn't do any damage to my truck. Obviously if you go charging at it and come to a quick stop because the snow is too high to keep going, you run the risk of cracking a fog light or bending up the bumper.

Decided to drive up one of the larger fields at school and snag a couple photos. I like this one a lot, although the truck is sitting on a pretty decent incline.

Come back 45 minutes later to find this guy taking up my old spot and the one next to me. He was originally like 5 spaces down from me when I left.

That's pretty messed up. Hopefully Karma will visit him very soon.
