Default Another Bike haul option

Here's another Yakima rack option to haul bikes etc. These are Raingutter towers and clips used to span over an Estang Tonneau cover.

That's very similar to what I have, with the difference that I use Yakima rail grabs that I clamp to my bed rails, so I did not have to drill into the truck bed sides. Otherwise, almost the same what I do.
Can you open / close the tonneau with the rack installed?
Those Yakima front loaders are nice, aren't they? I have two more on order right now ...

With this bike rack on the bed becomes a big trunk. Can't flip tonneau open.

Those bike racks effortless ease loading/unloading makes 'em worthwhile.

If you use TCUSA you can open the cover. I got mine with the pre-installed yakima tracks. Not a closeup pic but you get the idea

Yeah, good idea, I would like being able to open and close the cover with the bike rack on.
How easily can the entire TCUSA be removed from the truck?

It could be done but it would be a PITA.

That's what I kind of remembered, and that is one reason I ended up with my truxedo. I can remove the whole thing in probably under 30 seconds, have done it a few times to haul gravel, firewood, etc.
I guess nothing is perfect.

Well, thank you all!
I am going to carry a canoe so I have one ladder rack post at the rear of the bed with the half pack on the cab.

Barry V, I am going to try that.
